Directions:
The tour starts where the Gaflenzbach flows into the Enns. Here is also the rafter tavern, where once the ferrymen strengthened themselves again before they had to master the difficult Reith am Kasten. As a transshipment point with trade connections to Steyr and Waidhofen, Weyer once acquired the name the Güldene Märktl, which indicated the wealth of the hammer lords.After the first climbs, the town reveals precisely these witnesses of time and beauty. The first apex is the Weyerblick, which invites you to take a rest and gives an impressive overview of the Weyr basin. The next destinations are Mühlein and Pichl - together one of the agricultural centers, characterized by cattle and timber farming. In the fall, the must is produced here, which is then awarded annually at the must costs. Via Breitenau you finally reach the Weyrer Kreuzberg (623 m) - a nature reserve with more than 16 km of interlinked hiking trails on an area of 48 ha and the rustic Zwergerlwald forest, which is especially inviting for the little guests.

Tip:
Visit the Katzensteiner mill. Lies on the way and is worth a break!
