From the Hochramskogel snack station, continue on the gravel road, across a flower meadow and through the forest to a saddle where the hiking trail from the Platten merges. Turn left onto the narrowing trail beneath the southern flank of the Lindaumauer leading up to the summit cross.
Hiking trail: E32 or variant E04 from the Platten
From the Hochramskogel snack station, follow the ascending gravel road about 300 m. The path then branches left and leads, becoming steeper, across a colorful flower meadow with many medicinal and wild herbs. After a short steep section through the forest, you reach a saddle where the hiking trail from the Platten joins. Turn left onto the narrowing path beneath the southern flank of the Lindaumauer and then left up to the summit cross.
Those sure-footed and without fear of heights can cross the rocky, somewhat exposed ridge northeast to the Lindauer Berg about 30 minutes away – it also offers a magnificent view.
Tip:Visit the rock cave located just above the path (bring a flashlight)!

Der kleine Vorgipfel im NO der Lindaumauer eröffnet dem Auge das gesamte Mostviertel bis zum Ötscher
Von der Querung der Hochfläche über einen nur schwach wahrnehmbaren Ziehweg (Traktorspur, ab Spätsommer in Wiese oft verwachsen) trifft man hier auf die Forststraße und nimmt den Abstieg über dieselbe.
Die etwa 170m lange Höhle mit der Katasternummer 1829/1 liegt direkt am Fuss der Felswand unter der Lindaumauer. Durch die leichte Erreichbarkeit wird sie oft begangen. Dennoch ist für den Ungeübten höchste Vorsicht angebracht! Für ausreichend Licht (Reserve!), Wechselkleidung sowie Begleitung für Notfälle ist unbedingt zu sorgen!
Höhlen sind sensible und hochempfindliche Lebensräume, die seltene wenn auch sehr kleine Tiere beherbergen. Daher höchste Achtsamkeit und keinesfalls offenes Feuer im Höhlenbereich!!

Für uns wichtig sind die Wegweiser "Lindaumauer" und "Neudorf/Weyer / Großraming" - letzterer führt uns wieder zu unserem Parkplatz.
