From Gmunden you take the R4 cycle path out of town to Laakirchen, where you change to the R13 cycle path in the town center. This leads at the transition from the Alpine foothills with views of the magnificent mountains to Kirchham, further in the direction of Vorchdorf via Pettenbach to Wartberg. From here you follow the Kremstalradweg R 10 to Kremsmünster, where you leave the R10 at the corner of Franz-Lutzky Strasse / Kremsegger Strasse and branch off via "in der Scheiben" to Pfarrkirchen to reach Bad Hall, the destination of the 3rd stage.
Bicycle-friendly businesses in the Traunviertel cycling region
The destinations of Steyr and the National Park Region, Bad Hall, Traunsee-Almtal and Pyhrn-Priel have joined forces under the name "Radregion Traunviertel". Numerous qualified and labeled "bicycle-friendly establishments" offer here special overnight accommodations with tools for minor repairs, lockable bicycle rooms as well as sufficient information material on the subject of cycling in the Traunviertel cycling region.
Under MY RECOMMENDATIONS you will find our BICYCLE-FRIENDLY ACCOMMODATIONS on the tour.
Bike Shuttle Bus
The route between Steyr and Spital am Pyhrn can also be comfortably covered with the bike shuttle bus! This way you can enjoy the sights along the route in a particularly comfortable way - and there is also enough time for one or the other cultural or culinary side trip. The bike shuttle runs from the end of May to the end of September on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays (in the morning). The current departure times and stops can be found at www.steyr-nationalpark.at.
Attention: This service must be booked in advance via the website!
