From the fee-based parking lot, you either walk on the road or take a direct path across the alpine meadows to below the Anton Schosser Hut. Follow the signpost towards the summit, and halfway there you will reach the natur.Bank at the former site of "Blasl‘s panorama swing."Tip:
The onward path to the summit of Hohe Dirn is a must. From there, you can enjoy magnificent panoramic views of the Alpine foothills and the Mühlviertel. Afterwards, you cannot miss a rest at the Schosserhütte, where you can enjoy the culinary offerings with many homemade specialties on the sunny terrace.Additional information:

Getting there

By car:
Coming from the north: exit the A1 at Enns – Steyr and continue via the B309 to Steyr. On the B115 via Ternberg to Losenstein.
Coming from the south: exit the A9 at Traboch and take the B115 via Eisenerz, Hieflau, Altenmarkt, and Weyer to Losenstein.

From Losenstein, a toll-free road leads to the parking lots (approx. 7 km from the train station)

Public Transit
Arrival via the Ennstalbahn runs between Linz and Weißenbach-St. Gallen. Stations are located in Ternberg, Trattenbach, Losenstein, Reichraming, Großraming, Küpfern, Kastenreith, Kleinreifling, and Weißenbach-St. Gallen.

Parking from the Weiderost area at the transformer station is only permitted in parking lots B and D.
