This hike leads first on the asphalted road into the Klausgraben, after the Klaus wall left towards Kammerhofer and up to Unter- and Obertandlberg. Continue to the Großberger chapel and before the farm Großberg left at the house Kleinberg past to the farmhouse Hofberg and from there downhill back to the starting point.
Trail number: E35
Directions:
This circular trail begins at the Walleiten bus stop. Walk parallel to the mountain bike trail on the asphalt road along the Klausgraben and turn left after about 1.2km (sign "dead end", after Klausmauer - striking narrow point). Passing the Kammerhofer house with its idyllically situated fish ponds, the trail now continues slightly uphill.
At the next junction, where you turn right onto a gravel path, you can once again really relax on a resting bench and listen to nature. Now the path leads steeply uphill to the house Untertandlberg. After about 400 meters of level road, you turn left. The trail continues uphill to the Obertandlberg farmhouse, where it is worth making a detour to the Tanldberger Chapel. Here the hiker has a wonderful panoramic view of numerous farms with their many hedges and orchards.
You have now reached the highest point and hike along meadow paths around the Großberger Kogel, where a new wonderful view opens up after every bend. Along the way you will also find the Großberger Chapel, which can be described as a masterpiece of craftsmanship with its carvings. Before the farmhouse Großberg you turn left, from the house Kleinberg to the farmhouse Hofberg you can always collect beautiful impressions.
From now on it goes on asphalt road again downhill towards the starting point.
