roadblock: Sperre
Time period: 15.03.2024 - 26.04.2024
The first stage begins in Steyr and ends in the Reichraming national park community.
Start full of opposites:

From one of the most beautiful historical cities in Austria through the lonely Reichraminger Hintergebirge to the tranquil village of Reichraming
Mostviertel: panoramic mountain bike tour

E-Mobility (e-bike rental) Steyr-Historischer Stadtplatz-an der Enns via Garsten, Dürnbach, Ternberg to BHF Trattenbach-Kiesberg-Schneegraben-Geißhanslhütte-Weißenbachl-Dirnbach-Reichraming

Coming from the north, Steyr is, so to speak, the last bastion of urbanity before the lonely primeval worlds of the Kalkalpen and Gesäuse national parks. And what a! The beautiful old town makes it difficult to say goodbye, but what follows is no less beautiful: An idyllic hilly landscape with rural hamlets brings you along the Enns to the Reichraminger Hintergebirge. Suddenly it becomes lonely - it is not for nothing that the mountains are considered the largest closed, practically uninhabited forest area in Austria. Up and downhill, forest roads now lead you through the mountains to Reichraming.
Starting point: In the old town of Steyr, at the confluence of the Enns and Steyr. Public arrival with the ÖBB possible. Free parking on the Reithoffer site, additional parking in the Stadtplatzgarage (for a fee!).
Destination: Reichraming
