Description:

The monastery route starts from Garsten to Sand and Unterdambach, on the Flößer and Horseshoe route it leads to Laussa via Sonnberg and further below the wind turbines to Schöffthalerhöhe. Passing Neuhaus, the Hollnbuchner settlement and Gscheid, then we follow the Menweg to Großraming. Through the Rodelsbach and Sandluckengraben the next destination is Brunnbach, from where it continues on the Kreuzweg and Annerlsteg into the Reichraming Hintergebirge. The Schleierfall and the Weißwasser bivouac site are further stops in the Kalkalpen National Park. On the Knappensteig up to the Blabergalm, past the Seven Springs and over the Ahorn saddle we reach the Dörflmoaralm and Zickerreith at the Hengst Pass. We follow the Proviantweg to the Red Cross Chapel and the Laussabauer Alm. On the Karweg it goes to Hall and from there to Admont.

Directions:

The monastery route starts from Garsten, at the power plant we cross the Enns and then a path runs along the Enns upstream to Sand. From there it goes into the valley to Unterdambach past the Weidmann inn and the Nagelschmiede.


On the Flößer and Horseshoe route (E96, 11) the path heads south to Laussa. Wonderful views are offered by the hike on trail 404, 406 and E97 over Sonnberg and Willeitenberg. We follow the E53 below the wind turbines to Schöffthalerhöhe. On trail 467 past Neuhaus, the Hollnbuchner settlement and Gscheid, we reach the Menweg (E41, E65), which we follow to Großraming.


Through the Rodelsbach and Sandluckengraben on E45 the next destination is Brunnbach. From there it goes on the Kreuzweg (E48) and Annerlsteg (487) further into the Reichraming Hintergebirge - into the Große Schlucht. The Schleierfall and the Weißwasser bivouac site are further stations in the Kalkalpen National Park.


On the Knappensteig (475) the monastery route leads up to the Blabergalm, past the Seven Springs and over the Ahorn saddle we reach the Dörflmoaralm and Zickerreith at the Hengst Pass. We follow the Proviantweg past the Red Cross Chapel to the Laussabauer Alm.


On the Karweg it goes to the Rauchschober hut via the Großschoberbauer Alm. Over the Small and Large Seeboden we reach the Admont House. Then follows a descent to Oberhall and from now on the towers of Admont Abbey church motivate us on the way from Hall to Admont.
