Welcome to the Steyr Old Town Loft—your exclusive retreat above the rooftops of the historic old town. Spanning over 125 square meters, my wife Tania and I have transformed the entire top floor of a venerable townhouse into a sophisticated penthouse that blends elegance with pure comfort. With three bedrooms, two Italian-style bathrooms, and a spacious, open-concept living-dining area, it is the ideal temporary home for families, friends, or executives.
Attention to detail is evident in every corner: from the Bavarian oak chevron flooring and artfully carved ceilings to the local oak from our own estate in the Weinviertel region. Located on a quiet side street yet right in the heart of the action, Steyr lies at your feet. The crystal-clear river and Lamberg Castle are just a short walk away, making the loft the perfect residence for wedding parties—whether as a stylish backdrop for preparations for the big day or for a festive champagne reception.

We are located in a super quiet but very central pedestrian zone in the old town. The entrance to the building is situated in the secluded Schlossergasse, a historic alley between Sierningerstraße No. 24 and Schuhbodengasse No. 8. The beautiful Steyr is best explored on foot, by bicycle, or with the Segway Steyr tour. The train station and the old town are a 10-minute walk away.
For maximum comfort, please use the fully monitored Wieserfeldplatz garage (at Wieserfeldplatz 11, 4400 Steyr), which is only about 50 meters from our house.
The fees for the Wieserfeldplatz garage are:
7 euros per day on weekends;
3.50 euros per day on public holidays and
12.60 euros per day on weekdays.
There are sufficient parking options around the apartment on the street. (blue zone with removable parking ticket from Monday to Saturday noon during business hours)
You may use the courtyard in front of the house with your car for dropping off passengers and luggage by entering Schlossergasse from the south side (at the height of Sierninger Straße 24).

Our apartment impresses with its excellent location in a wonderfully quiet yet central pedestrian zone. You will find the entrance in the hidden Schlossergasse – a historic alley that nestles between Sierningerstraße 24 and Schuhbodengasse 8.
We aim to make your arrival as relaxed as possible: You can drive directly into the courtyard in front of the house for loading and unloading by turning into Schlossergasse from the south side (at the height of Sierninger Straße 24). There are sufficient parking spaces in the surrounding streets available in the blue zone (charging applies on weekdays until Saturday noon). For maximum comfort and peace of mind, we recommend the fully monitored Wieserfeldplatz garage at Wieserfeldplatz 11, which is just 50 meters from the house. Here, historic charm meets modern accessibility – we look forward to welcoming you.
