Losenstein

Losenstein, Oberösterreich, Österreich
Losenstein lies at the foot of the 1180 m high Schieferstein. The many valleys and ridges reduce the force of the wind and give the village a mild, pleasant climate.
The church and the houses of the village nestle close together in the narrowness of the valley and give the village a beautiful, homely appearance, which has earned it the nickname "Pearl of the Enns Valley"!

The proximity to the Kalkalpen National Park promises a special kind of landscape experience and the Hohe Dirn hiking area also offers a great nature experience.
A journey into the craft and industrial past can be experienced on the Nagelschmiedweg (nail smith trail) - past historical sites to the dreamy lake of the Kesselfall. In the Brandstätter Hammer, which houses the world's largest collection of hand-forged nails, you can work the red-hot iron yourself. This wonderful circular hiking trail can also be done by mountain bike.

The Losenstein indoor swimming pool offers something for everyone, from quiet relaxation to active swimming fun.
