The SPES Hotel impresses with its modern, barrier-free design. Generous glass surfaces provide a view of the beautiful landscape of the Upper Kremstal. The SPES Hotel is the ideal location for meetings & seminars.
Situated on a viewing plateau right at the edge of the forest, just a 5-minute walk from the center of Schlierbach, the newly opened SPES Hotel (2009) boasts a modern, barrier-free design featuring large glass surfaces that offer stunning views of the beautiful landscape of the Upper Kremstal.
The hotel offers:
- 44 modernly furnished rooms with balcony, shower/WC, internet, TV, and telephone. An additional 3 rooms with shower/WC are available in a cozy wooden house in the nearby eco-holiday village.
- 6 light-flooded seminar rooms & 3 meeting rooms for up to 120 people, bright and friendly furnished, equipped with the latest technical facilities.
- Relaxation area with sauna, relaxation room, rooftop terrace, power-napping beds, and meditation room.
- Panorama restaurant where primarily regional and organic dishes are served.
- Beautiful surroundings with a variety of leisure activities.
A special feature of SPES is the Dark Tasting Room. Completely dark, pitch black, total darkness. Not a single beam of light penetrates this room. The sense of sight takes a "break," and under these special conditions, attention shifts significantly. The "eye-animal" human must give up 80% of its usual perception and concentrate much more on its other senses. On selected dates, guests have the opportunity to experience this sensory journey during dinner or breakfast.
The SPES Hotel is a Bio Austria partner, Fairtrade gastronomy partner, awarded the Austrian Environmental Label and certified with 5 flipcharts. We are also part of the largest municipal Climate Protection Network and take responsibility for climate protection.

Cozy holiday home furnished with lots of wood, located near the hotel in the eco-holiday village. In House Helene, there are 3 bedrooms (one of which has a sofa bed for a third person), each with its own bathroom. The equipped kitchen with dining area features a coffee machine, dishwasher, stove with oven, and refrigerator. From the kitchen, you can access the terrace with garden furniture.
The parking space is located directly at the house. In summer, guests of House Helene can use a heated outdoor swimming pool (5x10 meters), and there is a beach volleyball court, a children's playground, and a table tennis table.
