Directions:

A very demanding route, but the effort is worth it!

From Gaflenz/Weyer, the path leads uphill from the Gschnaidter intersection to the FF depot Moosgraben. Cross L93 and about 1 km uphill to the viewing point at Haunoldsteiner Höhe. From there, go downhill to the left and after about 500 m turn right downhill for 2 km to Gasthaus Großau (parking available for the short variant). From there, pass through two farm passages and then a short stretch of gravel road uphill on the left, followed by an idyllic meadow path past a wind turbine. This section could be a short push section (150 m) for some. At the top, turn left into the Most-Höhenstraße. Then it goes gently hilly downhill for 5 km to St. Michael. From here continue downhill and after 2 km turn right to the Seitenstetten Abbey (Stiftsblick bike route). After visiting the magnificent abbey church, one can enjoy a meal in the local inns. To ensure trouble-free onward travel, existing charging stations can be easily used here. A short visit to the blossom splendour in the courtyard garden is also worthwhile.

Continue between the abbey and courtyard garden and immediately turn left following the green signs "Most-Radroute" or "Stiftsblick-Radroute" – then continue right along Dachsbachstraße. After about 2 km, turn sharply right onto the farm road "Blümelsberg" and ride to the "Karl-Lammerhuber-Blick" (green sign). Then follow the yellow sign "Kapellenweg Großmayr". At the chapel junction, turn left following the sign "Kapellenweg Großmayr". At the next junction, however, turn right and take the road uphill. At the end of the ascent, on the left above is St. Georgen in der Klaus - on the right it goes down to Wieserhöhe and further downhill left towards Waidhofen. After about 1.5 km, turn sharply right at the bottom towards Konradsheim. Pass Konradsheim and then turn right towards "Moststraßenheuriger Schatzöd". Continue uphill and then keep half-left towards "Gaflenz/Maria Neustift" to reach Haunoldsteiner Höhe.

From there, keep left and return over Kreuzgruber Höhe to Gaflenz and Weyer.

Those who chose the short variant from the Großau parking lot continue half-right on Haunoldsteiner Höhe (traffic sign Ertl) and after 500 m turn right downhill 2 km to GH Großau to the car.
