Visit the Jew's Harp Manufacturer and discover how this traditional musical instrument, which has been hand-made since the 16th century, is produced. In the Mollner Planmatriken of the 17th century you will find the oldest names of the Mollner Jew's harp makers, including the name Wimmer.
The production of the Jew's harp was included in the Imaterial Cultural Heritage of Austria by Unesco in 2014.

Free guided tour with many sights and photos from the 12th generation of the Wimmer family business. You will experience, see and hear. An experience of a rare kind. Diversity and tradition will amaze you. You will learn interesting facts about the making of the Jew's harp, including the correct way to play it. You will be amazed at the sounds you can elicit from jew's harps.
Special features: Demonstration or demonstration (production) of a jew's harp completely handmade. Playing on bamboo jew's harps from southern countries and, as a finale, a Sicilian Marian song with musical accompaniment. A wonderful experience that reaches deep into the soul.
