Works by Alois Lindenbauer can be seen in various places. Among others, the fountain at the Kreuzberg parking lot, the metal swings in front of the Innerberger Stadl, the willow ship in front of the elementary school, the fountain sculpture in Kleinreifling, the stone park at the outdoor pool, the wooden sculpture in the courtyard of the Egererschloss and the plaque at the memorial Dipoldsau are from the artist born in Weyer.

Lindenbauer, who attended the Federal College for Wood and Stone Sculpture in Hallstatt, worked together with the Italian architect Lucio de Paulis.

He has been a member of the MAERZ artists' association since 1999 and is also a member of the Professional Association of Visual Artists of Upper Austria and the Amstetten Art Association.
In addition to the state scholarship and work scholarship from the Federal Ministry for Education and the Arts, Alois Lindenbauer has also been honoured with numerous sponsorship awards.

In his works, everything is in slow, gentle motion. It seeps and drips, hollows out, changes. Wood is usually the material, but he also works with stone, which he subjects to changes with liquids - both gently and radically. With its horizons, intersecting directions and abrupt verticals, "Alpin" is close to geological/tectonic movements and landscape forms.
