Laussa

Laussa, Oberösterreich, Österreich
Laussa lies in a quiet side valley of the Enns on the border to the Northern Limestone Alps. The history of the village is based on ancient tradition, as evidenced by valuable finds from the Neolithic Age. In the last centuries, several hammer mills settled along the Laussabach and today the hammer castles still bear witness to the former prosperity of the Black Counts.
The power of water, used since time immemorial, the sun, the wind, in short, energy production from renewable raw materials and climate alliance partnership, are milestones on the way to a future worth living.

There are two nature reserves in the municipal area of Laussa, which are home to a wealth of protected plant and animal species. Herb and orchid meadows in the "Limestone Wall" nature reserve invite you to take relaxing hikes that refresh the senses.

More than 180 climbing routes in grades 5 to 9 are available for friends of this sport. Further information can be found at www.klettern-im-ennstal.at
