From the town square Steinbach you pedal comfortably on the Schulstraße in the direction of Au. You will cross a forest on an asphalt road. When you reach a crossroads, ride downhill in the direction of the Haunoldmühlbrücke bridge, but do not cross the bridge, instead keep left in the direction of Molln. After about 7.5 km turn left into the forest road into the Dorngraben. From there you go on a forest road to Pfaffenboden.Here you branch off on the northern forest road and after about 70 Hm you reach the Grünburger Hütte at 1080 m. Via Pfaffenboden you come to the forest road to the Schoberstein. Proper brakes are recommended!
