Start at the sports field in Windischgarsten or at Stiftsplatz in Spital am Pyhrn, follow the R31 cycle path towards St. Pankraz / Klaus. From St. Pankraz continue cycling on the R8. A few meters of altitude have to be overcome before you get to the new railway bridge with a view of the Steyr, to Klaus / Pyhrnbahn. At the reservoir it goes directly over the dam and then left to the variant R801 to Frauenstein and Molln. In the center of Molln drive in the direction of Leonstein, over the Steyrbrücke right and continue on the Steyrtal cycle path R8 to Steinbach / Steyr and Steyr. After spending the night in Windischgarsten / Spital am Pyhrn you can still plan the additional stage No. 7 to Hinterstoder! Instead of driving from Windischgarsten / Spital am Pyhrn to Steyr, you drive from Hinterstoder to Steyr the next day. In this way you can also experience the leisure activities in the World Cup town of Hinterstoder.
