Place of pilgrimage on gentle hills

Surrounded by gentle mountains and hills at an altitude of 613 metres, the picturesque village offers an extensive panorama that stretches in all directions. The tangible hospitality, the lively village life and the living customs of many traditions characterise the place of pilgrimage in particular.
The spiritual offerings have attracted numerous pilgrims for centuries. Visitors who feel the longing to rise above the everyday in order to recognise completely new, deep, personal moments can experience this through sport, meditation or a guided tour of the magnificent pilgrimage church.

Experience VALUE:

"Be well, be healthy - nature is the best pharmacy."

Take a break from everyday life, reflect, pause, go out into nature and enjoy it with all your senses. "Heil sein - gesund sein" means healing for the soul, drawing strength, refuelling in nature and in faith, gaining distance, looking inwards, perhaps also seeing new paths. "Heil sein - gesund sein" is reminiscent of "Maria - Heil der Kranken", to whom this pilgrimage church is dedicated.

"There is a little piece of heaven on earth somewhere for everyone!"

"From a Christian point of view, being healed means: YOU ARE LOVED from the beginning and without your doing. Be aware that you are absolutely cherished by God within you." J.B./T.M.
